Christian is an excellent procurement manager, who has greatly improved the effectiveness of service procurement in my department. He has achieved this by working with my managers to more clearly define the specific work activities needed from vendors. This level of granularity in his analysis has been critical in managing costs. He is also a strong negotiator.

While with my group Christian has started to expand his work into definition of key performance indicators and how these can be assessed, whether internally or externally performed. I would strongly recommend Christian for roles in procurement and performance management, whether in the pharmaceutical industry or outside.

Having work with him, I can share that Christian is incredible ! I've never seen this level of curiosity that allowed him to raise the deep root cause & solve it in a structural and comprehensive manner. His high level of commitment, engagement, resilience allow him to manage complexity in a structured way with good rationale.

The last project managed was a non-compliance situation : we moved from uncontrolled licenses management to a controlled and compliant usage, in a carve out context, with a deal anticipated thanks to Christian's lead and agile approach. We saved a few millions euros, including the Software Asset Management best practices : without your lead it was never possible to reach this level of excellence in only 6 months for this multi-year contract. Well deserved Christian !

I am taking the opportunity to thank Christian for its remarkable work with Solvay Business Services. He took over a vacant position that was to be urgently staffed, with a very difficult work to go back years ago with the content of a major and very complex contract, even not known anymore by the supplier; he succeeded in structuring the data, negotiating an agreement with the supplier and achieving our goals beyond expectations.
